Carlos,
I am so sorry for your loss.
I still remember talking with her and dancing with her at your wedding...and the fact that she loved to talk about you.

Lifting up prayers for you and the family.

Semper Fi,

Jay

We met only once, the afternoon of the Baptism of my grandson Vincent, and had such an interesting and lively conversation that I will always remember fondly.
Condolences to all her family. May she rest in the Peace of Christ.

Glenn, I met your beloved mother through you when I was your teacher in the Gifted and Talented Program at Cedar Creek Elementary. Her brilliance, energy, humor, warmth and devotion as a mother and wife intrigued me. We became friends and her wonderful work with the Library for the Blind led me to do some work there. Marisol was a joy and inspiration to me, a determined lady of grace. We were also fellow parishioners at St. Mary's Cathedral where

Carlos (& GlenGlen) -
I will always remember your mother as one of the most loving, tolerant, patient and kind people to bless my life. The door to her (your) home was always open, and there was usually chili and rice (or something equally delicious) on the stove. She was a blessing to so many of us, though we didn't realize just how much in those years. She leaves many wonderful legacies behind, one of which is my desire to

Life is such a precious gift and all too soon it can slip away. But thanks to God through Christ we have a wonderful hope for the future. "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear the voice of Christ and come out." (John 5:28,29 Acts 24:15) Yes, you will see your loved ones again because Christ will journey there to awaken them from sleep. (John 11:1,11-14,43,44) And the life to be enjoyed when this takes place is almost to wonderful to contemplate. (Revelation 21:3,4 PSalms 37:11,29 Isaiah 11:6-9) tymack79@aim.com

So many memories of Marisol as wife, mother, Little League team mother, protector of scrawny little boys at Hill Country Middle School, wonderful cook, and a constant and loving presence in all our lives. May we all celebrate her life and try to touch others as she touched us. Love, Jane Maxwell

I was fortunate to work with Marisol in the studio where she narrated many books in Spanish for blind and physically handicapped patrons. She was also my "spell check" and grammar check whenever I had to write something in Spanish. She shared with us stories of her life in Spain, her sons' accomplishments, her love of family and so much more. Wednesdays at 10 was her slot and she often brought items that she crafted or sewed. She also invited

While visiting my daughter, Ivanna Kern I was able to visit and meet Marisol.
What a gracious lady ! even though, I did not know her well, I would like to send my love and sympathy to her loved ones. How fortunate, you were to have such a lovable and special mother. May God give you comfort and peace, during these difficult days. My prayers are with you.
